Today my family and I are spending time with the awesome grandparents and Uncle in the quaint town of Waterford, CT. On this beautiful Saturday afternoon, I decided to look up tea houses in the area, and behold…I found a fantastic one that I’m dying to check out tomorrow. My mother in law has never been to a tea house. Yes…I mean never, so I get the luxury of treating her to one in the pretty town of Mystic, Connecticut. The name of the tea house is Alice Village, which is an Alice in Wonderland themed adventure of tea and scones to die for. I will be posting pics tomorrow, so keep an eye out for them. Maybe if you are ever in the area, you can come check out the place for yourself.
Until next time….

This morning my friend Katie and I took a beautiful trip to Peterborough, NH where we came across a wonderful decorated place called Vicuna. The best cookies and cup of tea this charming place has to offer. What makes this place so different from other tea cafes you might ask? In one word…Chocolate. Yes that’s right. Our warm cup of tea along with the best chocolate chip cookie that I personally have ever had…Was served to us on a long piece of wood, placed elegantly on the tiny table we sat at. Next to my cup was a small shot glass filled with what? Milk chocolate that was imported all the way from Bolivia. They had behind it’s cafe a factory for grinding the Cocoa beans from Bolivia, Equador, and Columbia into dark, light, smooth chocolate. The decor was adorable with its light and dark brown color patterns, and alpaca rugs. Next to one of the tables laid six small jars of cocoa beans, powder, chips, leaves, and bar pieces for their customers to smell. You couldn’t help but smile the minute your shoes entered the building with the scent of chocolate flowing in the air. I definitely plan to make another trip in the near future. If you are ever in Peterborough, NH be sure to check this awesome place out. Have a great night everyone. Treat yourself to your favorite chocolate drink or a piece of chocolate.
Until next time….
Well…I can’t believe Christmas is almost here. Presents are wrapped and ready, and the best time of year for tea and treats of course.
Tomorrow morning I will be blogging about my latest tea spot called “The Riverwalk” They make a wonderful macha and caramel mocha. I’m looking forward to see what homemade muffins they will have out on the counter in the morning. I will certainly let you guys know. Maybe even send a picture or two.
Until next time,
Yesterday afternoon, I had the luxury of enjoying the most delicious California Chicken Wrap that I had ever tasted. I can still taste the savory guacamole spice in it. The chicken moist and cooked to perfection, went down smoothly, along with their amazing Island Coconut iced coffee, and a bag of original salted kettle stylechips.
The cafe is located in a small shopping plaza in Merrimack, NH. It is truly a gem. The inside is cozy with it’s adorable wall built book shelves, cute tables, and quaint coffee signs hung on the walls. A long table I saw in the dining area caught my attention. The top was nicely decorated with old photographs of people. I’m not sure if they were family photo’s, but may have been. They were a wonderful touch for any guests coming in. You felt at home, upon entering its doors.
Looking for a cold drink to cool you in the summer this year? Come check out “The Rize” in Merrimack, NH.
Until next time….
Yesterday morning, after a vigorous workout, my friend and decided to check out a new tea place. It was an adorable bakery, with goodies to devour. They had anything from bagels to lemon poppy seed scones.
It all looked marvelous. We decided on a delicious cup of iced coffee and a lemon poppy-seed scone. Both were amazingly yummy. I ordered a coconut iced coffee, and can I just say,the coconut flavor was perfect. All that was missing, was a tropical island. 🙂
My friend enjoyed her caramel latte as well. Yummy.
They have a great menu of breakfast and lunch sandwiches, that I will certainly have to check out. It’s located in Hudson, NH. The name of the adorable place is Benson’s Bakery. Check it out if you are ever in the area.
I will be travelling to Maine this weekend, and I’m looking forward to discovering a new tea stop. I will keep you posted.
Until next time…
